Terttu Newaka

Terttu is the investigative unit’s administrator and researcher. She started as an investigative journalist intern in 2019. She is passionate about ethical business practices and attacking the root causes for injustice and corruption. Newaka aims to create an egalitarian society that empowers the vulnerable, safeguarding the Namibian democracy. She is a Bachelors of Commerce in Law graduate with experience in both human rights advocacy and labour law. In addition to working for The Namibian, Newaka is perusing her Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
